About Great Blue Hill Sail & Power Squadron

A Unit OF THE UNITED STATES POWER SQUADRONS® — America’s boating club®
For Boaters, By BoatersTM

Celebrating our 50th ANNIVERSARY, Great Blue Hill Sail & Power Squadron was organized in 1969 as a non-profit, educational organization. Our members live primarily in Boston and the south and southwestern suburbs. However, our boats are harbored all across eastern New England: Boston Harbor, Buzzards Bay, Narragansett Bay, Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and Maine.

We are dedicated to making boating more enjoyable by teaching classes in seamanship, navigation, vessel handling, and other boating subjects. We also enjoy joining our fellow members and guests on the water, in the classroom, and at fun-filled functions. Members and their family may enroll in basic and advanced boating classes and participate in activities such as

•  Cruises  •  Rendezvous  •  Courses & Seminars  •  Boat Talks  •  Dinners  •  Secret Sojourns  •

As a member you receive discounts to all our courses, both in class and online. You may also save on boat insurance and other marine services, including transient mooring discounts. You’ll receive the United States Powers Squadrons® magazine, THE ENSIGN, email newsletter, THE COMPASS, our GBH newsletter, THE VIEW FROM THE BLUE, and network with other squadrons wherever you travel.
