Exorcise your home of these horrible, ugly, crass, and yes, tasteless gifts. But don’t simply toss them out – dump them on your unsuspecting friends at the 12thAnnual GBH Cheapskate Swap!
For the uninitiated, you are NOT allowed to buy anything useful. Check the back of the closet, the garage and the shelf in the basement to find the worst/goofiest/lamest items you own.
Just a couple of rules:
- You do not have to join in, BUT TO PARTICIPATE you must bring a gift.
- No candles allowed, that’s way too easy and we will end up with 20 of them.
- And, yes, wrap or gift bag each gift so there is no clue as to contents.
- Sorry, you must go home with your new treasure!
And — to make up for all of this — there is a sumptuous dinner too.
